The Conservation District’s Seedling Sale is an annual fundraising event for various district activities and educational programs. Customers are typically able to choose from more than 30 different varieties of trees, shrubs, berry bushes, wildflower seeds and other planting supplies. In a typical year, the district takes in close to 100 orders for more than 5,000 items.

The staff, directors, and associate directors take great care in packing and sorting every order. We will also provide planting instructions and advice for maintenance to our customers. Customers pick up their orders on a specified day at the Cherry Township Municipal Building, south of Dushore.

As part of our annual sale, we also give approximately 500 seedlings to the Sullivan County Elementary School students in grades K-6 and to the students enrolled in the Sullivan County Head Start program. These seedlings are given as part of our outreach to celebrate Arbor Day.

The 2008 seedling sale is no longer accepting orders.  The deadline for placing seedling orders was March 14, 2008.

If you are interested in being included in our seedling sale mailing for 2009, please use the "contact us" page and be sure to include your name and mailing address.
