Who are we?
The Sullivan County Conservation District is a legal subdivision of state government responsible, under state law, for conservation work within Sullivan County. Conservation Districts focus attention on land, water and related resource issues, and develop or implement programs to address those identified issues. Districts coordinate both public and private assistance to achieve county specific goals. Conservation Districts also strive to make all citizens aware of the interrelationship between human activities and the natural environment.

• Dirt Gravel and Low Volume Roads (DGLVR) Program

How can we help you?
Soil testing—Soil testing kits, soil testing probes, and assistance can be provided at the conservation district office. There is a fee associated with the test kit analysis. All soil tests submitted through the conservation district office are tested at the Penn State Soil Lab.
Water testing—Water testing kits are available at the conservation district office for pickup.
